Mrs.  Bonnie Jean Franks, age 78, of Grant, AL, passed away at her residence on Sunday, July 3.  Local funeral services are Tuesday, July 5, 3:00 p.m. at Grant Memorial Chapel with Rev. Hal Mahan officiating.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.  Mrs. Franks will also have a funeral service on Wednesday, July 6, at 3:00 p.m. at Wilson Funeral Home, Osceola, Arkansas.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.  Interment will follow in Bassett Cemetery, Bassett, Arkansas.

Mrs. Franks is survived by daughters,  Barbara Wicker (Thomas), Margaret Gilson (Roland), and Brenda Osborn; sons,  Henry Stapler (Janet), Kenny Stapler (Jennette), Larry Stapler, William Carl Stapler (Laural), and Thomas Franks (Heather); grandchildren, 32; great-Grandchildren, 24; and brothers,  Rolly Wilkey, Hubert Wilkey, and  Thomas Wilkey.

 She was preceded in death by her parents, R. T. and Minnie Wilkey; husband, Dayton Franks; daughters,               Carolyn Kilpatrick, Marilyn Stapler, and Shirley Sharp; and brothers, Robert Wilkey and Herbert Wilkey.
