Mr. Jimmy David Geckles "J.D.", age 59, passed away March 18, 2011 at Huntsville Hospital. Funeral services will be Monday, March 21, 2011, 2:00 p.m., at the Claysville Holiness Church with Bro. Jessie Tipton officiating. Interment will follow in Prospect Cemetery off Hwy 79. Family will receive friends Sunday, March 20, 2011 at Claysville Holiness Church 11:00 a.m. - 9:00 p.m.
J.D. was born in Marshall County, Alabama, to Johnny and Helen Peace Geckles. He is survived by his children; DeAnn Lemley, Cara Geckles, Ashley Hill, Samantha Jones, Autumn Geckles, and Jaden (Lauren) Geckles; 9 grandchildren; mother, Helen Geckles; sisters, Lorraine Vandiver (Danny) and Faye Mangum (Jerry); and brothers, Johnny Geckles (Gale), Jack Geckles and Milton Geckles.
