Mr. Julian Chambless, age 85, of the Swearengin Community,
Scottsboro, AL, passed away Thursday, December 8, 2011, at Marshall
Medical Center North, Guntersville, AL. There will be a
graveside service Saturday, December 10, 11:00 am at Free Home
Cemetery with Bro. Clayton Tuggle officiating.
Mr. Chambless was born in Alabama to Albert and Lily McGehee
Chambless. He is survived by his wife, Lena Chambless; sons,
Roger Chambless of Swearengin and Ronald Chambless of
Huntsville; and sisters, Agnes MacLawhorn (Lloyd) of Charleston,
SC, and Era Patterson of Blairsville, GA.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Albert and Lily
Chambless; brothers, RL Chambless and James Chambless; and sisters,
Vera Bryan, Beulah Romans, Beatrice Driver, Linda Holder, and Floy
Staples.
