Kathleen Sutphin Rice, 81, of Grant passed away Tuesday,
February 14, 2012. Funeral services will be Thursday,
February 16, 11 a.m. at Grant Memorial Chapel with Bro. Kenneth
Randles officiating. Interment will follow in New Prospect
Cemetery. Pallbearers are Greg Fuell, John Paul Rice, David
Weeks, Ricky Sutphin, Dylan Rice, and James Sutphin.
Kathleen was born in Alabama on September 1, 1930 to Will Dan
and Menervia Jones Sutphin. She is survived by her husband,
Paul; daughter, Catherin Paulette (Polly) Fuell (James); son, Denny
Paul Rice; grandchildren, Greg Fuell (Kristy), John Paul Rice,
Amanda Weeks (David), and Stephanie Rice; 3 great-grandsons; and
brother, Lotus Sutphin.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Will Dan And Menervia
Sutphin; brothers, Eulas, Robert and Joe Sutphin; sisters,
Elizabeth Doran and Louise Higgins.
