Mrs. Peggy Joyce Embry McGehee, age 64, of Grant, passed away
Saturday, Oct. 29, at Shepherd's Cove, Marshall County Hospice,
Albertville, AL. The family will receive friends at Grant
Memorial Chapel Monday, Oct. 31, 5:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.
Funeral services will be Tuesday, Nov. 1, 11:00 a.m. at the
Chapel. Interment will follow in Click Cemetery, Woodville,
AL. Bro. Chris Sims will officiate, assisted by pallbearers,
Rodney Seeley, Rodney McGehee, Roger Garner, Hollis Click, Dorlas
Whitaker and Robert Atchley. In lieu of flowers, the family
suggests memorial donations to Shepherd's Cove, Hospice of Marshall
County or Center Missionary Baptist Church Building Fund.
Mrs. McGehee is survived by her husband, John H. McGehee of
Grant; two sons, John H. McGehee, Jr. and wife Renee of Decatur,
and Richard McGehee of Grant; two grandchildren, Richard Kyle
McGehee and Erin Lacey McGehee; and two sisters, Diane Hamock and
husband Randy of Albertville, and Janice Lang and husband Dale of
Albertville. She is preceded in death by her parents, Walter
and Mildred Embry; brothers, Glenn, Danny and Ed; and sister Linda
Seeley.
