Mr. Roger Duncan Smith, Jr., age 36, passed away at his
residence on Wednesday, February 1, 2012. The family will
receive friends at the Chapel on Saturday, February 4, 5:00 p.m. -
8:00 p.m.. Funeral services will be held Sunday, February 5,
2:00 p.m. at the Chapel with interment following in Free Home
Cemetery. Bro. Clayton Tuggle will officiate the service
assisted by pallbearers Jeremy Talley, John Quick, Jonathan May,
Josh Guffey, Shawn Gilbert, and Marty Guffey.
Roger was born on Christmas Day, 1975, to Roger Sr. and Doris
Guffey Smith. He is survived by his parents; sisters, Denise
Jones (Bob), and Carmen Guffey (Perry); nieces and
nephews, Melissa Guffey, Danielle Guffey, Stacey Gilbert,Shawn
Gilbert and Bobby Jones; great-niece, Avery Solis; grandmother,
Grace Guffey; uncles, Bobby Guffey and Michael Guffey; and
aunt, Mary Ledbetter.
