Mrs. Sara Campbell-Smith, age 98, of Grant, AL, passed away Wednesday, September 7, 2011 at her residence. A Life Celebration will be held at Grant First Baptist Church on Saturday, September 10, 2011, 6:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations to DAR School, Grant First Baptist Christian Life Center or New Life Methodist Church of Grant.

Mrs. Campbell-Smith was born in South Carolina on March 2, 1913 to Luke and Lula Fulmer Rogers. She is survived by her daughter, Paula Campbell of Grant; son, Donald Campbell and wife Jackie of Atlantic Beach, FL; grandchildren, Michele Barfield Atchley, Stephanie Barfield Long, Natalie Barfield, Nicole Barfield Jones, Lavinta Campbell James and Tammeza Campbell Gibson; 9 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
