Mr. Robert 'Bob' Click

Robert "Bob" Gene Click, 80, of Huntsville, Alabama, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loved ones, Thursday, February 13, 2025. Born on February 15, 1944, in Grant, Alabama, he was the beloved son of Armon Click and Nannie B. Click. Bob was the third-born in a hardworking farming family of eight children. His upbringing in a close-knit family instilled in him a strong work ethic and a deep appreciation for family values, traits that would define his life. A 1962 graduate of DAR High School, Bob dedicated his career to barbering, beginning in 1964. He spent many years at Warden’s Barber Shop in Huntsville, where he became more than just a barber—he was a trusted friend, mentor, and a listening ear to all who sat in his chair. He loved his customers and cherished the friendships he built throughout the years, considering them an extension of his family. Beyond the barbershop, Bob was a hardworking and passionate cattle farmer at the Click family farm in Grant, Alabama. He was deeply connected to the land, pouring his heart and soul into caring for his cattle and farm. His enduring work ethic was evident in everything he did, from long days spent tending to his herd to the meticulous care he took in maintaining his property. He found peace and fulfillment in the rolling pastures of Grant and held a special place in his heart for the people of his hometown. He also took great pride in his home and yard, ensuring it was always beautifully maintained. He enjoyed planting flowers and creating a warm, welcoming space for family and friends. His dedication to hard work, whether behind the barber’s chair, in the fields, or around his home, was a defining part of his character. His legacy of perseverance, kindness, and love for his family, friends, and community will never be forgotten. His impact on those who knew him will live on in the many lives he touched. Bob was a devoted husband to his wife, Linda Carol Click, and a loving father to his only son, Brian Christopher Click. He was also a proud grandfather to Grayson Christopher Click and Haylee Schiff, who brought him endless joy. He is survived by his siblings, Elouise Junkins (John), Kathy Plexico, Luther Click (Cathy), and Margaret Isbill (Jerry), as well as a host of nieces and nephews. Bob is preceded in death by his parents, and siblings, James Benford Click, Fred Click, and Berta Ruth Allen. Pallbearers will be, Jason Allen, Patrick Plexico, Michael Click, David Deemer, John Bevel, and Steve Blake. In Lieu of Fowers the family suggests donations be made to Hospice of Limestone County, 405 S. Marion St. Athens, Alabama 35611.
