Mr. Christopher Rome Dabbs

Mr. Christopher Rome Dabbs, of Grant, AL, passed away at his home on Saturday, January 23, 2021. Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 28, 2021, from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm, at Grant Memorial Chapel. His funeral services will follow at 2:00 pm, in the Chapel with Bro. Shannon Burbanks and Bro. Ray Dabbs officiating. Interment to follow in Free Home Cemetery, in Grant, AL. Mr. Dabbs was a 1989 graduate of KDS DAR High School. After graduating high school, Christopher enlisted in the United States Army where he served in Operation Desert Storm. Mr. Dabbs was employed by Faithway Feeds, during his 20 year career as a truck driver. In his spare time, he enjoyed using his smoker to smoke food for friends and family to enjoy. He also was an avid outdoorsman where he loved shooting with his sons. Mr. Christopher Dabbs was loved by all who met him and was always a great dad. Mr. Dabbs is survived by his father, Bobby (Gail) Dabbs; Mother, Carla (Gene) Holliday; His soul mate; Angie Jones; Sons, Rome Dabbs, Christian Dabbs, Austin Dabbs, Noah Dabbs. One daughter, Carissa Dabbs; Sisters, Alexa (Eric) Dabbs and Amanda (Alex) Poe; half-sister, Katrina Collier; Step Brothers, Damien (Samantha) Holliday and Phillip (Cindy) Helms; One grandchild, Baylen Chase Horton. Niece; Victoria Poe; nephews, Emmett Holliday and Xander Gronemeyer. Mr. Dabbs is preceded in death by his grandparents. Arrangements Entrusted to Grant Memorial Chapel
