Mrs. Clara Faye Vinson

Mrs. Clara Faye Vinson, age 88 of Grant, Alabama passed away Saturday, January 9, 2021 at Marshall Medical Center North. Clara was born in Marshall County, Alabama to Chester & Emma Tidwell Johnson. A hard worker, she always made time for her loving family and friends, her church-Grant First Baptist, and enjoyed watching the Atlanta Braves. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, January 13, 2021 at Grant Memorial Chapel with Rev. Anthony Barnes and Rev. Steve Stanfield officiating. Burial will follow in Free Home Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5-8 p.m. Tuesday at Grant Memorial Chapel. Mrs. Vinson is survived by her husband, Charles Vinson; son, Daryl Long; daughter, Judy Mann; stepson, Charles "Bubba" Vinson, Jr.; stepdaughters, Sharon Hensley and Karen Lawrimore; grandchildren, Kristy Walls, Stephanie McDonald, Matt Long, Amanda Elliott, Jennifer Picard, Tyler Long, Jessica Sparks, and Joseph Long; 23 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
